Black Clover Explains Asta's Reaction to Yuno's Promotions

The first major fight of the manga's final arc has begun with Black Clover, and the latest chapter of the story has begun to expose how Asta truly feels about all of Yuno's recent advancements! The last arc began with a full-time skip as the Clover Kingdom recovered from the harsh conflicts against the Zogratis siblings. Both Asta and Yuno had received significant promotions as a result of their contributions to the Clover Kingdom's triumph. But, as usual, Yuno's promotions were somewhat better than Asta's. While Black Clover has shown fans several examples of how Yuno frequently feels inferior to Asta, it is unknown to Asta himself that he continues to feel inferior to his adversary in the same manner he always has. This continues to irritate him even as he prepares to perfect a new sort of talent, as he questions if Yuno would have fallen against Lucius Zogratis and failed to save Sister Lily, as he did when the ultimate epic started.

What Happens in Black Clover Chapter 345?

Asta continues to train with two of the Land of the Sun's Ryuzen Seven group's strongest members in Chapter 345 of Black Clover. Yosuga, his new trainer, observes that Asta is hesitant in his fighting style since his defeat has shaken him with uncertainty. Asta muses on the fact that he has been doubting himself and has been upset by the loss of Lucius. It's even had him thinking that he might not be Wizard King material after all.

According to Asta, if Yuno had been the one to battle Lucius, Yuno may have shielded and spared Sister Lily from her current predicament. Given that Yuno was promoted to Grand Magic Knight first and is still becoming stronger, Asta is beginning to question his status as a rival and the present strength of his principles in general. But, with the Land of the Sun now under siege, Asta doesn't have much time to think about it.
