One Piece 1045 Episode Explain/Review

"A Spell! Kid and Zoro Facing Threats!" The 1045th episode of the One Piece anime series.

Short Synopsis

Raizo fights Fukurokuju, Killer fights Hawkins, Sanji fights both the King and Queen and Nekomamushi fights Perospero. Following Sanji's defeat, King chases Zoro while he is still unconscious.

Long Synopsis

A Mary looks on as Black Maria, the only remaining Tobiroppo succumbs to defeat. Raizo fights Fukurokuju, but Fukurokuju uses his long earlobes as whips, knocking Raizo to the ground.

Killer fights Hawkins and slashes him, but Hawkins' Devil Fruit skill allows him to deflect the damage to other individuals, leaving him unhurt. When Killer stabs Hawkins, he injures Kid, complicating his fight with Big Mom. Killer understands he can't harm Hawkins until he first kills his captain.

On the live floor, Sanji is left to fight both the King and the Queen, while Zoro continues to recuperate and wait for the medication to take effect. Perospero tries to ruin Sanji with his sugar bow, but Nekomamushi enters and knocks him out of the castle.

The King and Queen gain the upper hand and defeat Sanji. While the Queen harshly punishes the defected Gifters, the King decides to follow and confront Zoro while he is unconscious. Although Chopper's crew attempts to kidnap Zoro, King stops them because the medicine has yet to take effect.

• The anime removes the targeting picture from the manga, which appeared while Perospero was shooting his candy arrow toward Sanji.
