The Final Performance: My Hero Academia Season 6 Episode 13 Review

My Hero Academia Season 6 Episode 13 sees the villains strive to avoid being arrested by the heroes, signaling the conclusion of this amazing storyline. Let's see how well they did in this review!

If you haven't heard of My Hero Academia, I hope the rock you live under has enough of room and sunlight for a healthy life. My Hero Academia, or Boku No Hero Academia to be more formal, is one of the most popular anime series right now.

My Hero Academia is based on Kouhei Horikoshi's manga series of the same name, and the anime is created by Studio Bones, which is well renowned for working on anime like Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood and Mob Psycho 100, so you know My Hero Academia is in good company. Kenji Nagasaki and Masahiro Mukai direct Season 6. The episode is also known as Boku no Hero Academia Season 6 Episode 13 in Japanese.

My Hero Academia Season 6 Episode 13 Review

My Hero Academia Season 6 Episode 13 was never going to be the most visually appealing episode of the series, nor was it going to be anyone's favourite at the end of this arc. All this had to do was terminate the fight in a way that allowed everyone to retreat while still appearing reasonable and continuing the plot of the programme. It was always going to be a letdown because it signalled the conclusion of the show's strongest storyline in what seemed like an eternity. It will be difficult to return to our televisions without watching combat and explosions every week, but the programme appears to be back on track.

The League of Villains is an odd group since their ascent to prominence seems to arise out of nowhere. All For One was always there for Tomura, but the rest of them seemed like a raggedy bunch of nobodies who were only the first to sign up with Tomura and thus held prominent positions in the group. In reality, that is precisely what occurred. As a result, Season 5's great notion of focusing on all of them and rebuilding them from the bottom up, including sympathetic backstories, was more than a bit perplexing.

My Hero Academia Season 6 Episode 13 was about how to retreat without losing face. The same could be said for the baddies in this episode, which is an amusing way to end things. I'm not opposed to it since, for a while, this arc felt too much like the series finale, and there's still a lot of promise in this tale. The manner in which Tomura fled will be crucial to his character development in the future, as will Deku's failed attempt to stop him one last time.

After My Hero Academia Season 6 Episode 13, the programme is in an unusual position since both sides of this conflict have lost too many casualties to face each other anytime soon. The heroes have a shattered reputation and a #1 Hero who has been turned against by the public, as well as a buffet of dead and injured comrades. The baddies, however, will very certainly never see Shigaraki at full power again, owing to the loss of their best Nemus, notably Gigantomachia. The playing field is incredibly even, and the battle is once again centred on All For One and One For All.

Verdict

After the insanity that has been this season, My Hero Academia Season 6 Episode 13 was a nice way to conclude things. It wasn't a very memorable episode, but it served its purpose admirably.
